This George is my 6X great grandfather. He died a sudden death due to an accident. There was a church under going a raising....the Unitarian in Wilton, N.H. to be exact...apparently a large beam snapped killing George and 2 others instantly...a couple more died from their injuries some time later. George had a young wife at home who was expecting another child.
George was only 31 years old when he died.
In the grand overall scheme of things...it is hard to not imagine the way life happens and turns out.
George's older son, Thomas named one of his sons after his dead brother...in turn that George had a son Eli. Eli was my grandmother Vera's great great grandfather....
In the end that makes me and those before me very lucky to be here.
There are some books written about this event....more about that another day.
