Apparently Uncle Gilbert was at a rather important Civil War battle...Cedar Creek...on October 19, 1864

Pneumonia.....

is what caused the deaths of Samuel Jackson and Sylvia Cook..
I found it at the New England Ancestors.Org website
in the pages of the Mass. Vitals Records...volume 303 on page 347
I had been wondering about why they had died on the same day...and now I know.
